Navy saluting in China

The Quartermaster onboard HMNZS TE MANA pipes the side for Chinese Naval vessels as they sail up the Yangtze River to their berth.   HMNZ Ships TE MANA and ENDEAVOUR will spend the weekend in Shanghai, China in the last of in a series of defence diplomacy visits for the New Zealand Task Force.  

The Maritime Component Commander, Commodore Jack Steer, embarked onboard the Ships for the passage said “Considerable progress has been made in the development of the defence links between China and New Zealand in recent years and visits such as this help to develop our relationship further.”
