Defence Force welcome Governor-General of Solomon Islands

His Excellency Sir Nathaniel Waena, Governor-General of the Solomon Islands, will be welcomed by a New Zealand Defence Force 100-person tri-service Guard of Honour at Government House, Auckland at 11:00am Saturday 18 June 2005.
On his first visit to New Zealand as Governor General, Sir Waena will be welcomed with a powhiri from the Defence Force Maori Cultural Group. The tri-service Guard of Honour will conduct a general salute as a Presidential 21-gun salute is fired.
