SLT Benny Melville was awarded his Wings on the completion of the basic and advanced phases of the RNZAF Wings Course. SLT Melville shared the De Lange Award for highest final flying marks with two other Wings graduates (a unique result) and, as well, won the Wigram Academic Award.
