The RNZN Organisational Structure
The RNZN has three components:
Chief of Navy with his Naval Staff who are responsible for raising, training and maintaining the Navy.
Deputy Chief of Navy who is responsible for the Naval Support Command.
Maritime Component Commander who is responsible for the Fleet. Operational control of the Fleet units is exercised by the Commander Joint Force New Zealand.
