OLPHERT: Wellington Naval Reservists ontarget at the Linton Military Camp Parsons Range
As a key part of Naval Reserve mission to contribute to the Navy by providing competent Reserve personnel fit for service, Members of Wellington Naval Reserve HQ HMNZS OLPHERT were joined by other Navy personnel, and put into practice their in Unit training in weapons safety and handling at the Linton Camp Parsons Range in Palmerston North.

The Officer in Charge of the Range Training Weekend LTCDR Peter Arnold RNZNVR said “ It is great for our Naval Reservists to be assessed for their Rifle and Pistol AWQ as part of their fit for Navy service requirements and for our Range Staff to practice the skills. It was a high value training opportunity for our Personnel, and my congratulations to those who achieved their AWQ, and thanks to the Linton Army Range Staff and all our personnel involved in making this possible“.
