Naval Community Organisation

Naval Community Organisation logo - stylised house with family and contact details

The Naval Community Organisation was set up in 2000 as a means of drawing together the functions that contribute towards the wellbeing of the naval community.  The naval community is seen as all of our service members, their families, naval civilian employees, reservists and, sometimes, our local Devonport community.

The Naval Community Organisation includes a Naval Information Bureau that provides information and runs events, the Amenities section, Library and a welfare section with two social workers and a family liaison officer.  We also have a link to the Navy Childcare Centre which is managed by an Incorporated Society.

The work of these thirteen people ultimately ensures that our service members can achieve optimal operational effectiveness through the provision of services, facilities and activities to aid their and their families’ wellbeing.

We can be contacted by phone on 0800 NAVYHELP or 09-445 5915, or  via our contact form
