The function of the Communications Training School is to provide formal communications training for the RNZN.
Our Mission:
To provide fully trained and effective Communications Operators, Supervisors and Managers for our Navy.

The Communications Training School (CTS) is situated at the Maritime Warfare Training Centre (MWTC), RNZNCT TAMAKI, PHILOMEL. The school has a dedicated and professional team who are committed to providing quality Communications training. The CTS team provide competency based training utilising the Just In Time concept. The CTS team deliver competent personnel who will serve the RNZN to the best of their ability.
