Mar 3rd 2008 - POSA Ross Don
My name is Ross Don and I am 26 years old. I originally come from Christchurch, home of the mighty Crusaders.
I attended Kaiapoi High School, where I found out about the Navy through the Naval Recruiter and his presentation on life at sea. From there on I knew I would be joining the senior service. So as a young lad at 17 I signed the dotted line and joined the Navy as a Stores Accountant.

Nearly 10 years later and still enjoying my job as a Stores Accountant, I have seen many sights from the Pacific Islands to around Australia, throughout Asia and even doing a stint in the Middle East. I was even lucky enough to get an exchange posting over with the Canadian Navy for a few months.
I joined HMNZS RESOLUTION in December last year having returned from an Asian deployment with HMNZS TE KAHA. My ambitions for this year are to see as many New Zealand ports as possible onboard the mighty RESO as I have spent most of my recent sea time overseas. All in all I look forward to the challenges set before me and overcoming them with ease. So GO THE CRUSADERS!!!!
