Flight Deck

The Flight Deck is by necessity multi-purpose. It is primarily used to land and house the Sea Sprite helicopter but has other purposes. As well as stowage of the helicopter, the hangar also houses the air weapons magazine, aircraft refuelling facilities and sonar buoy stowage. The open area of the Flight Deck is frequently used for regular circuits and exercise sessions for personnel onboard.  The Flight Deck is also used for weapons training.
